For 2026, foreign-earned income remains untaxed for non-domiciled individuals (those spending fewer than 183 days in a calendar year). If you transition to tax residency, you benefit from a progressive scale that only begins after a significant deduction.
For remote workers settling in Peru, tax status depends on domicile. Domiciled workers face taxes on global income, while non-domiciled individuals are taxed 30% exclusively on Peruvian-sourced earnings, with no allowances or credits.
